The mosaic covers a square a bit over 6 ft x 6 ft...it is right in the middle of three large oak trees in our back garden, where I cannot really plant anything without damaging their roots...it was either a raised bed for shade plants (for which I'd have had to buy all of the cinder block, soil, etc.) or this, for which I used 90% stuff I already had...plus, I never have to water this one ☺

Of course, it is taking longer than anticipated (surprise, surprise!)...but in the end, I think it is worth it to recycle old broken tiles and give them a new life.
