I had read that once the "slips" (little sweet potatoe plants) grow, one should place them in water to make them root. Well, mine had already rooted while they were still on the potatoe so I pulled them out and replanted them. Only one was large enough to plant but had not rooted. But I am skipping the water step and putting it directly in moist soil. So far so good. I'll post yield results in a couple of months.
