New kid on the block #2, got this one together with our cherry bush (above) this week. Very exciting. White sapote are easy to grow, no serious pests, and the fruits are prolific and delicious. When you can't grow what you know (e.g., Gala apples *yum!*, standard cherries, etc.) you gotta try something new! The plan is that, this time in one or two years I'll be going nuts canning fruit preserves and making home-made jams. Fingers crossed!
