Cassia Bahamensis
Also known as Senna Mexicana. This plant becomes the absolute cutest (and I hate that word, but there is really no better word to describe it) small tree you have ever seen (not higher than 9 feet & grows at a much slower rate than other cassias I have). Low maintenance, host to several sulphur butterflies, & the USDA plant's site shows it as an endangered species.

Very pretty, I've never seen these before. My yard has been full of sulphurs this year with the cassia alata... I may have to add this one for next year.
Hi GJ!
If you'd like some seeds just send me a SASE and I'll be happy to share mine. Keep in mind that this cassia grows at a much slower rate than its cousins and that it grows best in part shade than in full sun...email me if you'd like seeds :--)
Oooh thank you! I owe you an email anyway... Heading off to bed now but will be back on in the morning.
You are welcome GJ! and no worries about the email, I can only imagine what life is like with responsabilities other than a few cats! ☺
Ugh! Hate it that I cannot edit comments (or that I am too dumb to figure it out anyway)...I meant to say "restonsibility" with an "i" not an "a." Darn foreigners, I tell ya.
