Some gardening news

I have not spent a whole lot of time with the plants today...mainly I planted some of the stuff Dan sent me: purple sweet potato, edible canna (aka Queensland arrow root), Pacific spinach (edible hibiscus), & cassava. Dan, how can I ever thank you for this?

We also received our seed sampler orders, from Diane Seeds, feverfew, nigella satica (black cumin), French sorrel (rumex acetosa), nasturtium jewel mix, & Veronica spicata.

From Swallowtail Graden Seeds, we got epazote, borage, summer savory, brussels winter chervil, & lovage.

I was feeling very herby when I placed those orders! :D
I just cannot wait to taste all of these goodies!

A large chunk of the day was spent working on the mosaic...and now is into the kitchen to eat some herbed yukon gold taters...and while hubby does his once a year night golfing I am going swimming! Yahooooooooooooooooo!

Hope everybody had a lovely day thus far!
