I am mesmerized by this tree.
Its limbs are not branches but enchanted dark tentacles. It is an octopus tree.
Every time I drive by it I want to jump over the crumbly fence and climb it.
I want to picnic on it.
Have a sleep over and stare at the moon & hunt for shooting stars from it.
How cool would it be to have so much money to save all these old majestic wonders we see around? If someone wants to cut it down to build office space you can bet I am going to tie myself to the doggone thing!
