Flying Flowers 'Seeds'
Looks like swallowtails have been busy around one of our orange trees, this leaf has about 8 eggs, soon some ugly arse looking caterpillars, that incidentally look like bird excrement, will be munching on the leaves (not badly enough to permanently damage the tree) and a few days/weeks later a swallowtail will emerge (if the birds don't eat the caterpillars first).
Can't remember who first called butterflies 'flying flowers'...but I love that way of thinking about them.
