We are very lucky in that there are a few different kinds of woodpeckers that frequent our garden.
This male downy woodpecker was photographed in our back garden, through a very dirty window (I stink at window cleaning)...the shots are nothing to get excited about, but the birds are beautifully marked nonetheless, so on those grounds I felt fine about posting these.

We have a small blue bird keeps knocking on the window every morning, it's different than your woodpecker. I wish it's going to rain soon because the bird leaves some dirt on the window ;D
