We got bees!

Finally, after years of loving on them they decided to come into our garden for good. As of late I have seen about six different types of bees (although I was unable to photograph them for proper ID thus far) and it feels mighty good to have them back...who knows, perhaps -since we cannot legally have chickens- I could build some bee hives...something to think about.

How exciting!!!
We are in the process of buying some hives for our garden. We've been talking with the owners of the Dadant office near Gainesville. We decided against building our own hives. I can't wait to hear more about your bees! :)

Whoa lady! Hold on to your chickens there! ☺☺☺

I said something to "think" about...I had been toying with the idea for quite a while, then you brought back the issue with something you posted in your blog...and now that I cannot get chickens, well, I figured bees are the next best thing...perhaps I could talk them into laying some eggs for me..

Seriously now, that won't happen until at least another year...I need to read tons about it first & do more research...but I do have one spot in the garden that I am leaving empty for their possible diggs.

Best of luck with yours & please please please do post the progress of your bee stuff! How exciting! ☺
